Bucharest is a place that we call home. A great city of contrasts, nice stories and for sure a great nightlife that won't let you escape till morning!
If you decided to spend a short holiday in Bucharest, make sure that you will save 1 day to do a one day trip in the mountains!
Ask us how to do it for a great price! 45 euros for a guided 1 day trip in the most important touristic cities in the mountains! This includes being picked up by van from the hostel, a driver that will explain you what you will see, 6 stops to visit (Sinaia, Predeal, Paraul Rece, Rasnov, Bran, Brasov) and 2 dishes meal! the drinks are not included! Regarding the transportation, the Mercedes Vito van for 8 people has facilities inside, AC, heat, DVD. Also the driver :)
Visiting the museums is not included, but here are the aproximate prices:
- Peles Castle: 20 RON
- Bran Castle: 15 RON
- The Fear Castle: 15 RON
We really recommend this 1 day tour since if you choose to do it yourself, you must consider the costs to get there and the transport between the small towns, also the cost for a rent-a-car if you prefer this way, but keep in mind that the traffic conditions and infrastructure are not really the best! the transportation only will cost you up to 100-150 RON/ person and also add the price for a lunch at a restaurant. So...within the 45 euros, you can be sure you will see everything that's important in 1 day, in a safe, organized small group, having a driver that will pick you up and return you back to the hostel in the late evening, not to mention the indications you will get from him.
